QUESTION: Do I need to be a resident of the Original Highlands to join this petition?
Absolutely not! But you should be in one of the nearby neighborhoods that will be impacted by Wayside's plan. The Original Highlands is a small neighborhood bordered by Germantown/Paristown, The Highlands, Cherokee Triangle, Phoenix Hill and Irish Hill.

"The undersigned make it known that they are opposed to the relocation of Wayside's facilities into the Original Highlands, and more specifically, the SIZE of the proposed facility. A mega-shelter, housing 300+ new homeless individuals, is totally out of scale and proportion, by ten-fold, for a DENSELY RESIDENTIAL neighborhood. We seek Wayside's capitulation, and our political representative's assistance in this matter."
